PF, PPF, GPF, EPF and EPFO Full Form
The full form of PF is “Provident Fund”. It is another name for Pension Fund. Its objective is to provide a lump-sum payment to the employees at the time of retirement from their place of employment. This is different from pension funds, which include both lump-sum and monthly pension payments.
The full form of PPF is “Public Provident Fund”. It is a deposit scheme used for savings and tax-saving purposes in India. Which was introduced in 1968 by the National Savings Institute of the Ministry of Finance. Many people also consider it as a means of earning money at the time of retirement.
The full form of GPF is “General Provident Fund”. This is a provident fund account available to government employees. In this fund, government employees contribute a certain percentage of their salary to the account. The deposit amount is paid to the employee at the time of retirement or superannuation.
