In the Medical field, SAD full form is Seasonal Affective Disorder. It is also known as seasonal depression or winter depression. This is a type of depression that is related to the change in seasons – SAD starts and ends at roughly the same time each year. Symptoms usually occur during the fall and winter months when there is less sunlight and usually improve with the arrival of spring. The hardest months for people with SAD in the United States are January and February. Less often, SAD causes depression in the spring or early summer and resolves during the fall or winter months.
In Politics, SAD full form is Shiromani Akali Dal. In English, it means Supreme Akali Party. It is an Indian regional political party that is active in the state of Punjab. SAD is the second-oldest in India, after INC, being founded in 1920. The Election Symbol of the Shiromani Akali Dal is the scales. The scale symbol is shown as being equal on both sides. This is usually drawn on a bluish-black rectangular flag of the party. Till 26 September 2020 they were part of NDA. SAD left the NDA over the farms bill.
